Effective altruism (EA) is an ongoing project to find the best ways to do good, and put them into practice.

The choice of problem area is probably the most important factor in how much of a difference you will make in your professional life.
Just because a problem is both large in scale and overlooked doesn’t necessarily mean you should work on it.
