Join us for the third edition of the Nordic Group Organisers Retreat, aimed at fortifying the EA community across the Nordic region. This year, we’re gathering in the heart of Stockholm at EA Sweden’s co-working space, offering an inspiring setting for collaboration, strategic planning, and community building.
Details
Dates: August 2-4 or August 16-18, 2024 (TBC)*
Venue: Sveavägen 76, 113 59 Stockholm, Sweden
Target Participants: >30 leaders from national, city, university, or cause-specific EA groups across Norway, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Sweden, Iceland, and Latvia.
*Upon application, you will be able to pick a date that aligns with your availability. By default, we hope you can select ‘Both dates work for me’ if your schedule allows. This approach helps us gauge availability in the broadest sense. Please only opt for a single date if attending on the other is genuinely not possible for you. Application
Application Deadline: April 9, 2024 at 23:59 CET.
Please take the time to thoughtfully complete your application. We anticipate higher interest in this event, and your detailed responses will greatly assist us in understanding how impactful the retreat can be for you. That is why we added additional questions to the application form this year. It’s important to note that we’re not evaluating your knowledge of Effective Altruism; rather, we’re keen to learn how we can tailor the event to be most beneficial for you and assess its relevance to your needs. Your insights are invaluable to us, and we appreciate your effort in sharing them. Your answers will be the primary foundation for the retreat’s agenda.
Admission and travel support decision will be communicated shortly after the application deadline.
