Projects
We are excited to offer three impactful and developmental internship projects. These opportunities are designed for the interns to adopt valuable skills and experiences while also contributing to increasing EA Sweden’s impact.
Developing content for our career pages: As an intern on this project, you will create engaging and informative content for our career pages, including updating our current Career Guide, and write career guides for specific cause areas and occupations.
Developing content for our Introductory Guide: In this project, you would update and compose information about EA into an easy-to-navigate guide, aimed to provide foundational information and educate people who are curious of the EA ideas and movement.
Mapping the organizational landscape and career opportunities in Sweden: You will be responsible for mapping out programs and organizations in Sweden that offer opportunities for direct impact and/or skill development in different cause areas and career paths.
Note that while these are the main areas of the internships, other community building-related tasks connected to EA Sweden’s operations will likely also be a part of the internship.

About Effective Altruism Sweden
EA Sweden is one of the most established national effective altruism organizations worldwide, founded 2016 and driven by professional staff since 2018. Our core activities include building a strong Swedish EA community, providing career counseling, mainly in the form of workshop series and individual coaching, as well as starting and supporting high-impact projects. Two examples of such projects are Ge Effektivt and Future Academy. We are also organizing events for the community, for example, EAGxNordics, a three-day conference taking place in Stockholm on April 21–23, 2023 that will gather hundreds of people in the European effective altruism community. Learn more about what we do in our latest Impact Report.
Our team currently consists of three full time employees and one part-time and we are in the process of exploring different opportunities to complement the international EA-ecosystem. These opportunities may involve conducting trials on innovative methods of measuring impact, improving regional collaboration within the Nordics, launching an incubation program for piloting high-impact projects and organizations, and experimenting with novel approaches to attract and retain individuals from more diverse fields, backgrounds, and career stages.
